Lebanon Sinking into Civil War Again?

According to a recent report, the Catholic Patriarch of Lebanon spoke in his Sunday homily about the prospect of civil war. Calling up images of the civil war that dominated the 1980s, the Patriarch called for peaceful coexistence among Lebanon's religiously diverse country. ...

According to the report:

Lebanon's leading Catholic cleric warned against "danger which is at the door," and condemned violence that could "destroy the image of Lebanon," in a powerful homily on January 15.

Maronite Catholic Patriarch Nasrallah Sfeir decried the "terrorist acts which have revived, in the memory of the Lebanese people, events already witnessed in the past, the AsiaNews service reports. Cardinal Sfeir was referring to last week's clashes, and the threat of a renewal of the bloody civil war that tore Lebanon during the 1980s.

This is not good. Hasn't that country gone through enough? Thanks for writing this and pointing this out. People often forget about Lebanon unless there is a big bombing.
